When deleting a duplicate file, have an option to also replace the duplicate with a link back to the original file. Often, there is a logical reason I have a file in two locations because it 'fits' in two different folders, but I do not need both fi

Support for junction, reaprse points (like symlinks) and hardlinks to be really able find real duplicited files. Add option for replace duplicitie files by hardlinks or symlinks. Add syupport do detect whle duplicite folders and option to replace dup

Offer native 64 bit support also include user selectable means of detection i.e. CRC, Md5, byte by byte, as well as simple name and size algorithms

Add options to select duplicate criteria: size, content, name, date

Two files are duplicates only if they have same content, so that has to be the final test to ensure they are really duplicates, but it takes a lot of time to compare all files. Options to narrow down which files to search can be size, date, name,...

Deal with duplicate files more than one at a time. I was presented with a list of over 5000 duplicate files and expected to select them one-by-one. Which (at one per second) would take an hour and a half, and be extremely tedious...

Have a selection option for file type you are trying to find duplicates of, this will hasten the processes eg *.mp3 *.avi etc

be able to have pairs with deleted results automatically removed from duplicate list. I know it tints them red, but if you have a long list, I think it's more useful just to remove them from the list entirely.

Hard links should be detected and managed separately. As it stands, I have to scan hundreds of false duplicates because I share file contents between two hierarchies.

When identifying duplicates make sure that the sizes are the same. There could be more than one file with a particular name and both may be needed. By matching file size, you could know that you're not deleting a needed or wanted file.

Search With ext. date and option to delete duplicate file with small in file size (for example txt file with small size get deleted and bigger remains)

It is very common to make txt(notepad file) to keep detail which we need usually and we keep adding new details and also make duplicates to keep backup this addon will remove all old small size( mean file with lesser data will get deleted and...

Make a default place for all originals to go. (example, video files go to video folder, etc) and replace where the original (and duplicates) were with a shortcut.)

Just to add, I'm not sure if it has this: If it could find shortcuts that didn't lead to a file were deleted as well. Plenty of times I uninstall a program, and shortcuts are left behind.
